New Year, New Blog

I’m unsure where to start, so let’s pretend you already know me.

The last year of my life can best be explained by a post I made on Facebook on December 31.

In 2022:

I treated more than 300 wild animals in my home.

I nourished my creativity privately.

I found my love of reading again.

I protected my peace.

I invested in preventative care for my own health.

I developed systems to help to live without chaos.

I nurtured my relationship with my family.

I learned how to unmask.

I accommodated myself for my disabilities.

I fell in love with myself.

This was a good year.”

I earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2016. During my four years at university, I lost myself.

For almost seven years since I’ve been searching for myself again. That search has taken me back to an old love; keeping a personal blog.
